In 2018, May 16th was set aside to create awareness on the issues concerning the boy child. International Day of The Boy Child is an opportunity to remind ourselves that the boy-child, as much as the girl-child, is a child with the usual fears, doubts and vulnerabilities of children and in need of love and support. This year’s theme focused on boosting optimism, restoring self-worth.
