On May 30th, some sections of the Nigerian community commemorated Biafra Heroes Day. Groups like the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) held events for various chapters in African countries and the African diaspora. In Nigeria, the Biafran flag was raised in recognition of Biafraland.
