The exploits of DragonForce Malaysia are the most recent example of hacktivism or hacking for a social or political cause, that has been witnessed in recent months.

In the last 48 hours, DragonForce Malaysia has carried out extensive ‘injection’ attacks, defacing government websites and knocking other sites offline, indicating that tensions have now spilled over into cyberspace. The Indian Embassy in Israel and the National Institute of Agriculture, as well as educational institutions like Delhi Public School, are among those affected.
