INSECURITY: Nigerian Govt Closes Schools In Nation’s Capital Over Fears Of Attack.

Due to concerns about an armed gang (Bandits) attack, the Nigerian government closed one of its colleges in Abuja.The Federal Government College in the city’s suburb of Kwali had to be closed, according to a statement from the education ministry on Monday. This was because of the unrest in the nearby villages.After gunmen raided Sheda on Sunday morning and kidnapped a citizen, the report said a security breach on the villages of Sheda and Lambata threatened the school.

Sheda is where the Federal Government College is situated.The college’s administration was given instructions by the education minister to set up a time for final-year students to complete their terminal exams.

Additionally, he urged the heads of government schools across the nation to coordinate with security organizations to ensure that their kids’ safety.Attacks by gunmen are on the rise in Nigeria, and many of them target individuals, kids, priests, and teachers.
