President William announced his cabinet nominees on Tuesday, exactly two weeks after being sworn in on August 13. Only the Labour and Social Protection CS Simon Chelugui was retained by President Ruto from the immediately preceding President Uhuru Kenyatta cabinet.
Several current and former lawmakers will join his new cabinet in the Executive branch of government, including former National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, former Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, former Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, among others.
