Online fraud whistleblowers have flagged the online store bonsigma.com advertising on social media platforms, claiming to be offering holiday sales and more as scammers. The new online store is suspected of scamming customers out of their money by pretending to be offering massive discounts including an ongoing Christmas sale of up to 80% off. Online shoppers are being warned to avoid the website.
“The website is an online store selling clothes at cheap prices, but they’re scamming people by charging their cards without sending them their orders. The prices are unrealistically low and too good to be true, which is always seen as a red flag. They claim to be operated by Fadel Beatty Limited, which is known to be suspicious and has been used by many scam websites”, claims one complainant in an online review.
Others have pointed out bonsigma’s suspicious websites and online track record noting that the website theme and lots of other details provided on its website match multiple problematic sites, it is said.
The website is linked to another fraudulent website named https://www.wikivito.com/. Both are sharing the same contact information, content, theme, and much more, and mostly they are related to the same scammer.
The website claims to be operated by YINO, a French company run by Chinese scammers and has been found on multiple problematic websites. Social media icon linked to its business-related social media page is not available. However, legit online stores mostly provide social media icons linked to their social media group, pages, or profiles. So, it may not have a social media presence.
All of their items are on sale at unrealistically low prices. However, these prices are mainly used to make people buy from them.
The domain name is very recent and has a very short life expectancy, which means that this website may be shut down soon.
